WebIt's half life 1 in half life 2s engine and is a lot better imo. I'd say go for it. HL2 and it's episodes play way more modern anyway. I still beg you, if you like HL2 afterward, try HL1 again, using these settings. You might find yourself having a better time. WebThere's Half-Life Redux. It adds high res textures, projected shadows, and some fancier shallow water. I used it in my playthrough a few weeks ago, it's pretty good, but don't expect it to look like HL2 or anything. You can use The HD pack for half life source, not a big change though, i would go with redux :)
