Game is good but Shrine of Amana is just fucking cancer no matter how you try to cut it - I had to take a break because it was so frustrating to clear as a pure mage. The fact that they want you to do that exactly and not have your own tactics is sort of a bad decision, but acknowledge that they placed like 4 bonfires in the area.
