WebNov 11, 2012 · I recently bought a Hafler DH-101 preamp in a local junk store, one side seems to work, the other is nearly dead, although some signal comes through if I turn the volume up fairly high. I suspect that is something like cross talk to the power amp, which is an Updatemydynaco ST 120 complete upgrade. WebDecision Point:The Hafler DH-101(DH) has two phono inputs. WebAug 28, 2024 · The DH101’s strength is its sound quality which is good in my opinion. Chassis build is another matter. I’ve more or less settled on an APT Holman as my preferred preamp but have not been tempted to dispose of that Hafler. However I did dispose of a DH110. Nicer to look at and better constructed but the DH101 sounded better to me.
