Webb17 dec. 2012 · SOURCE: plow will only turn to the right. It is electric over hydraulic most are, make sure the solenoid is clicking when you try to turn the plow. One side is working see what one is clicking the other one would be the culprit. If the solenoid are working then the problem is internal to the valve body. Also, the controllers are pretty much made to not be repairable, except the brand new ones which you can change the joystick on them. Post a picture of your controller, if its a newer one you may be able to try and replace that joystick ($60).

Webb29 dec. 2024 · Make sure there isn’t any snow or ice impacting the electrical connections and then try the following: Make sure your plows battery is working and there aren’t any cut or exposed wires that are shorting out. Electrical connections should be tight and clean. Even a little corrosion could interfere with the ability to keep things running. Webb23 feb. 2005 · I did talk with Hiniker and he asked me to check the control wiring with a test light, jumping terminal 3 to 4 to make sure its grounded. Than if that works he said to use jumper cables and ground the plow with them to see if that helps. All is not lost yet, just gotta keep pluggin away at it till I figure out whats wrong.
