Web8 jun. 2011 · If you have not yet removed the solenoid: Use "channel lock" or a similar pair of pliers. Grip the solenoid with the pliers and twist in a clockwise direction. It should be relatively easy to unscrew the solenoid. When you pull it out make sure the unit comes out with everything including the small inside piece with the "O" ring.
